This vacuum is relatively straightforward to maintain, although its multi-stage filter necessitates attention to various components.
Hair wrapped around the TurboTeQ brushroll can be easily cut away with scissors by following the groove along the brushroll. There’s a small access door for cleaning the air turbine that powers the brushroll; however, the brushroll itself cannot be removed. Disassembling and cleaning the floorhead is quite challenging and time-consuming, often resulting in debris becoming trapped inside its body. Unfortunately, this old debris can sometimes fall back onto the floor during cleaning.
The filters, on the other hand, are much simpler to clean. You can conveniently remove the filter frame, pre-filter, foam filter, and pleated paper filter for cleaning when necessary. The exhaust filter should be replaced annually or whenever the timestrip indicator turns red. Additionally, the thread lifter on the AllTeQ universal floorhead can be replaced when worn out, simply by prying it off with a screwdriver or a similar tool.
